P1 Power boat and Jet Ski Racing

The 15th & 16th July sees the P1 Welsh Grand Prix of the Sea at Milford Waterfront (P1 Power Boat Racing), it is a great achievement to have secured this event and Milford Haven looks forward to hosting it . This event has previously been held in Cardiff Bay and we are delighted to be hosting this in Milford Haven for the next few years. Milford Waterfront are sponsoring local brother & sister team Coleman Racing Team from Saundersfoot, so it will be great to cheer on a Pembrokeshire Team!

Tickets

You will be able to buy premium seated tickets, which include entry into the P1 village and you can also buy VIP tickets for a very lavish affair and the best views of the races.

Where to watch

Of course, there are vantage points all across Milford which are free of charge, and if you get a seat at Foam or the Harbourmaster, you’ll have a great view (but I would suggest booking a table as I expect it will be very busy here), also, you could think about taking a picnic and a rug up to the Rath, and settle there for the event, it will be a splendid view!

Where to park

There’s going to be a park & ride, the exact details are not finalised as yet, but keep looking as there will be no parking allowed on Milford Marina unless you are a resident or a trader. The P1 Power Boat Racing is expected to be well supported, so I wouldn’t leave it to chance. I’m advised that the buses will be travelling all around the town so you can hop on, hop off where & when it suits.

It’s a great accolade for Milford Haven to be hosting this prestigious event and I hope it will go from strength to strength. Milford Haven Port Authority and Milford Waterfront have done a great deal to get this organised, so I do hope it will all go well.  Keep your fingers crossed for some good weather, I’m sure the P1 Power Boat Racing teams won’t mind a bit of drizzle but I think the spectators would rather have sunshine!
