Arrival and Departure

Check in is available from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Early/late check in can be arranged at an additional fee and by prior arrangement only, CLICK HERE for details.

Check-out is by 10:30am on your day of departure. However, we can add on a late departure fee, should late checkout be available on your room, if you have a late flight, etc. Email us for possible availability and more information.

As mentioned, any of these options can be arranged at an additional fee and must be made by prior arrangement only (subject to availability). Please note we do not offer a bag drop off service. We consider this an early check-in.

Booking and cancellations

It’s always best to book us directly via our website, email or phone. Our direct bookings mean you will become a Fields Lodge VIP and will benefit from various benefits over and above those offered by third party booking sites, such as Online Travel Agencies (OTAs).

Please note the cancellation policy before committing to a reservation.

We advise that you take out a suitable insurance product to cover against unexpected events that may result in a cancellation, as we do not jury the circumstances surrounding your cancellation.

We charge your first nights stay as a deposit at the time of the booking. The balance will be charged 14 days before your holiday start date, when the non-refundable cancellation policy applies.  Unless a reservation is cancelled by 8:00am GMT, on the 14th day prior to your arrival (where the day of arrival is classed as Day 0), or in case of a no show, the total price of the reservation will be non-refundable.

For bookings of three (3) or more rooms at peak times, special events, and/or holidays, we reserve the right to charge the total stay price six (6) weeks prior to the start date of the holiday. Your reservation becomes non-refundable at this point. You must secure the booking with an acceptable credit/debit card, or a bank transfer. The first nights’ stay is taken as a deposit on booking and the remainder of the stay will be charged at the latest, 6 weeks before your holiday start date.

Bookings made via OTAs, may be subject to differing terms and conditions in force at the time of booking, for that site– always read all the information carefully before making the booking.

For any booking where the deposit is not received within 48 hours, the booking will be cancelled, we reserve the right to make the room(s) available again. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received. At the time of receipt we will forward your confirmation.

Should it become necessary for us to cancel a booking we will contact you immediately. Any payments made will be refunded in full. Should you wish to, we will attempt to book you into another local bed and breakfast of the same or lower Visit Wales grading in a similar standard of room(s). Should this establishment be more expensive than Fields Lodge, we will pay the difference for the first night of your stay. Our liability will not extend beyond these conditions.

Should you  have ordered any additional extras, and then later wish to cancel any or all of them you must do so at least 48 hours in advance, to avoid being charged.

Car Parking

A small car park is available at the front of Fields Lodge. Parking is free for VIP, book direct guests and on a first come, first served basis. Cars and their contents are parked at owners’ risk. For OTA bookings, we reserve the right to charge a car park fee of £5 per night, per room. For additional parking, there is also a roadside public carparking area across the road from Fields Lodge with space subject to availability.

Change of Room

We reserve the right to transfer a booking to a room of a similar quality where circumstances are outside of our control or at our discretion.

Damage and Breakages

You are responsible and liable for any damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. We reserve the right to charge the full replacement cost for any item or piece of furniture removed from the room, and this can be done after departure. These include, but are not limited to:

Hairdryers £40.00 + VAT
Remote Controls £40.00 + VAT
Items such as towels, robes, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, iron, alarm clock and ironing board, etc.  are there for your use and enjoyment during your stay. Should you find any of the items irresistible and want them for personal use after your stay, we will be happy to add their replacement cost to your credit card, even if discovered after departure.

Dogs

We do not accept dogs normally but reserve the right to accept in certain circumstances, and by prior arrangement ONLY.

Keys

You have access to the building and your room 24 hours a day throughout your stay using a set of keys given to you when you register on arrival. You have full responsibility of these keys for the duration of your stay. Lost keys, or keys not returned, will be charged at £50 per set.

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to you or any member of your party, your vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees whilst acting in the course of their employment.

Lost Property

We are happy to return items that have been left following departure. However, there will be a postage and packing charge, plus £15.00 admin fee.

Payment

Payment is due fourteen (14) days before your holiday start date and we accept the following charge, credit and debit cards: Delta, Maestro, MasterCard and Visa. We can also accept Paypal. We do not accept cheques.

Prices

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. This does not affect bookings already made.

Smoking

Smoking is NOT permitted within any part of Fields Lodge. Please note that offending guests will be asked to leave immediately and a deep cleaning fee of £300 will be charged to your account. Further, the rest of your stay, should this apply, will be non-refundable. This will be applicable, even if discovered after your departure.

Termination Policy

Fields Lodge reserves the right, to terminate, without notice, an individual’s stay, when deemed necessary, if a guest exhibits unacceptable behaviour,  including actions which are likely to endanger or offend others, and/or for non-compliance of our non- smoking policy.  In such circumstances any outstanding account must be settled, and if prepaid, no refunds will be made
