    Valentine’s Day 2021

This is going to be like no normal Valentine’s Day

We’re in lockdown, can’t go to stay anyway, can’t go anywhere for a romantic meal and for me, the biggest thing is that I’m going to have to prep a meal, clean up, wash up and tidy up, both before and after!

    Out for a lovely meal

Oh, how I love going out for a really lovely meal.

Dressing up, nice shoes on (i live in flats), hair and make up done.

Spoilt by the waiters, indulge in some really glorious food, a nice wine…I am partial to a cocktail and a few bubbles, but then everything in moderation.

I’m sad to say, but the last time I went out for a ‘proper’ night out, was indeed last Valentine’s Day.

I bought a new dress-I’d seen it on This Morning earlier in the month, and the shoes to go with it.

I’d had my hair done, did my make up

Wobbled on the high heels down from the car park to the Grove Hotel in Narberth, for a lovely meal in their restaurant.

Was spoilt with a welcome Valentine Day Cocktail, followed by a bottle of pink bubbles and a glorious (as you would expect) meal from their kitchens and spent the night just having fun and letting time slip by.

Ideally, I like to be one of the first to arrive, as I don’t like eating late but I do like to be the last leaving. I’m not into this fashion you see in the big cities, where a table is booked out more than once in a night.

I know this is popular now, as with todays’ situations, you can only have a table more a maximum of 2 hours–I do hope that once we get the full all clear to open up, this restriction might be removed.

    Your Valentine’s Day

So, what are you doing for this Valentine’s Day?

Roses don’t last that long, chocolates are damaging to your waistline, a cuddly toy often gets relegated to the back of a cupboard, so how about a Gift Voucher to come stay at this lovely B&B (when you can).

This way, you can have something to look forward to, you can pin it on your board or pop on your mantle piece, and then you will have it as a daily reminder of something lovely you’re going to enjoy in the future.

Plus, if you give it as a gift, then your loved one will have a lovely bright smile when you hand the Gift Voucher over.

    Enjoy your Valentine’s Day,
