We’ve been welcoming guests for 8 years!
Can you believe we’ve been welcoming guests for 8 years? I must say, I don’t know where the time has gone—it just goes to prove time flies when you’re having fun!
We’ve had a lot of questions about what it’s like to be in Pembrokeshire in the winter, so I’m going to answer them for you here, just in case you were asking yourself…
Q Isn’t it always raining?
A Surprisingly no!
Before I opened the B&B, I did have this perception that it was always raining, but since, having to be mindful of the weather, I’ve discovered there’s not that many days that have rain right through the day! I’ve observed if it’s wet in the morning, it’s normally cleared up by the afternoon and vice versa. I’m coming to realise the weather comes in and out on the tide quite often! Even if it is raining, there is nothing more life affirming than visiting St Ann’s Head and stepping out of your car. As long as you’ve got some wet weather gear you’re in for a treat! And we’ve always got some great ‘rainy day’ options for you, if you want to stay inside.
Q Will everything be shut as it’s out of season?
A Pembrokeshire is a year round place to visit, you may find it’s quieter in the more commercial towns but the best thing is that you’ll get a beach all to yourself!
Q I’m not sure I know enough about what to do in winter in Pembrokeshire
A Don’t worry at all! We’ve got great experiences ready to share with you, just let us know what you like doing and we’ll have plenty of suggestions for you.
